Do you think the 5 song set would have made more sense or been less dissapointing as an encore?

I feel like that would work. I'm fine with the untitled jam closing out the main set but when they did it back in the day I left with a "that's it" feeling. Play Crack kind of works as a good end song.

I would have lIked it at the end. the unpredictability of it would have got the crowd more excited and Play Crack the Sky would have been an awesome closer.

Yea that is what I am thinking. I feel like the crowd wouldn't be as terrible if they were up front about playing Devil and God.

Most people want 70x7 or Sic Transit and not a 10 minute You Won't Know. Though I doubt they would have sold as many tickets if it were marketed as just Devil and God.

I'm all for people taking a photo or two and maybe a short video or something (I'm not going to lie, I take a few photos here and there - just so I have the memory) but to blatantly have your phone in the air the entire night is not only rude to others, but dumb for the person doing it. Enjoy the moment.

I should of probably unfollowed this thread now that I've seen them but pizza flights made it worth sticking around.

You pick six different types of pizza, they give you like 2/3 pieces of each kind and it comes out on like a platter! It's like a beer flight but with pizza.

Holy shit. How have I never heard of pizza flights? You know those ads for like Florida that go "Vacation here, we have water and sun and old people!"? Your state should be like "We have pizza flights". Brb moving to the place you live.

If you have a chance to see them on this tour, do it. This is truly the best they've ever sounded live. What an awesome show.

Trying to get out was worse. People in SUV's were just hoping the curb rather than wait 45 minutes.

Brand New sounded really good again today. Moshi Moshi was added, it wasn't on the setlist but Jesse played it solo. Which was super cool. I could watch them just play a single album every night and be happy. You Won't Know was essecpaily epic tonight, Vinnie was going nuts. Last night I thought I heard the volin during Handcuffs but tonight my girlfriend pointed out that Jesse's gutair tech was playing violin during Luca and Handcuffs. She stands towards the back of stage right. I think it's really good they are doing that

As for traffic getting in and out: I saw The Front Botttoms last night in Cleveland and that was more than enough. I got there about 25 minutes before Brand New went on, had to park in a lot across the street and got out, on the highway and back to my hotel in under twenty minutes. It was so nice. Lol. That venue was weird. I didn't expect the sound to be good but it was. How old is that place? I want to say it sucked but I don't know if that's the word. It's just… weird. Like they threw seats into a warehouse. lol. I don't know how to describe it.

Edit: I just looked it up and it was built in 1952 and renovated in 1998, so if you count that renovation it's not that old. I can see how they hold conferences, conventions and events similar to that there but I couldn't imagine watching a basktball game in there, D-League or not.

Oh and I laughed so hard that they charge $2 for wifi. That's just so hilarious to me.

That venue looked like a high school gym haha. Sound was excellent though. Getting our sucked. I've never seen so many people not understand how a four way stop works.

Crowd was better than I expected, except for the girl who said she was going to pee in her beer cup because of her small bladder.

Overall, a wonderful night. This seriously the best they've sounded in ages and Jesse thanked the crowd like ten times for supporting the band.

Deltaplex is a nightmare in general. I've learned to park on the far side next for the other exit or at Meijer and just walk the mile to the venue.
