My girlfriend got Milwaukee tickets right when pre-sale tickets went up a month or more ago and said it sold out shortly after. A few other people I know who wanted to go have been saying the same thing/they couldn't get any and I didn't question it. I should tell them to try again, I suppose. Edit: or not. Rave website says it's sold out.
Was planning on skipping this tour since it's not coming close to Florida but I can't pass up the chance to hear TDAG especially Archers so I just bought a ticket for the show in South Carolina. Glad I already requested my absentee ballot since I just realized it's on election night.
I wonder if they're going to do TDAG first, then a random set second or a random set first then TDAG as their second set. I hope they do TDAG first then the other set. When I saw them do Deja front to back, that played Deja first then a second random set. I know when TBS did their TAYF tour, they did a random set first, then TAYF to close.
i don't care what order they go in, but i'd like to see a small opening set: 2-3 songs, TDAG and then another 3-4 song set to close. but again, this is really just nitpicking what's going to be another incredible show.
What I'm interested to see is how they close the show. I feel like TDAG is full of closers (You Won't Know, Limousine, Sowing Season, Degausser) and I'll be interested to see what they use to close the show if they play it in order. Nightmare? Crack the Sky? 70x7?
I didn't go to it. I'm not saying it never happens, but it's pretty rare I think. That being said, this is Brand New so if there's any band that wouldn't be that straight forward about it, it would be them. I can't really say I care all that much whichever way they decide to go, but I would prefer they keep the original order.
I've seen them close with Play Crack the Sky at least 3 or 4 times and Soco at least twice and once with 70X7. I've also seen them close with You Won't Know and Sowing Season. I'm sure they'll either close with either Crack the Sky or Soco.
You might be right. Though I've seen them about 8 times since TDAG came out and each set ended with a song from that album. But I'm just waxing poetic here. Excited for the Milwaukee date.
If anyone is looking for one ticket to the Milwaukee show, I can't make it anymore and I'm selling for face value.
Thank you so much for remembering me! I may be flying to Italy that day and won't know until the end of next week so unfortunately @Marblez I cannot commit to anything at this time.
I've only ever seen Play Crack and You Won't Know. When they end with YWK they do a pretty awesome jam usually so I like that one more. Ending with Sowing Season sounds strange lol.
There's no way they don't end the show with the Untitled jam. It was the sole encore (save for one show that had 70x7) during the Fall 2007 tour, which was the only time outside of the discography shows that it was played. And, at the discography shows, it was saved for last after they finished playing Daisy.
I actually went back and looked at each set list in the 8 times I've seen them. I was way off with Play Crack the Sky. They only closed with it once (although I've seen it played 4 times). Closers to the shows I've been to : 2007 in Cleveland - Good to Know If I Ever Need Attention (this shocked me when I looked it up) 2009 in Cleveland - Play Crack the Sky 2009 in Long Island - 70 x 7 2011 in Pittsburgh - Soco 2013 in Cincinnati - Jesus 2014 in Columbus - You Won't Know 2015 in Cleveland - Sowing Season 2016 in Pittsburgh - Soco
