Yea my fiancée gets up and then i feel that I have to get up, even tho I went to bed much later lol

 

My wife had to get up for work (she is a nurse) and I couldn't fall back asleep either.

I can’t sleep in past 7 anymore. Having to be up for work at 6 nearly every day is the reason for that. What’s worse, is I can’t seem to nap anymore like I used to.

 

I totally get this. I get up at 4 for work and it's tough to sleep in more than an extra hour or two on my days off no matter when I go to bed.

I'm switching to 8:30 to 5 shift this week and I hope I can be normal again.

Don't know if this is the absolute right crowd for this type of music, but these guys were my jam back in the day. Just kind of stumbled back into this album today after not hearing it for a few years and remembered how much I loved it. The final ~2 minutes of this song always get me so hyped. Pretty similar in feel to guitar solo battle that takes place at the end of Welcome Home. Anyways, just felt like sharing this since it's been bringing back good feels and memories.

 

Its nothing new for us. Canadian version vs US version.

That's so crazy. I was waiting for a haircut this morning and saw that in my newsfeed, then I remembered that someone in here was from Edmonton. Hope everything is ok.

 

More people should make it home to their families without being hurt. Period.

A person is a person. Sure there is cop corruption. Absolutely. There are filthy racist cops out there. There are also filthy racist waiters and waitresses / businessmen / people working at the movie theatre. Not everyone working at the movie theatre deserves to be stabbed just because undoubtedly somewhere on earth there is a scumbag putting popcorn in a bag

I'm sorry but this is too close to home for me (like I said, like 7 minutes away) to congratulate any of these actions. My best friend and band mate was on the street this terrorist drove down hitting people. Right before the cops caught and stopped him.

I have nothing but sympathy for those pedestrians but that cop is fine he's not in critical condition or anything.


Would say there's a false equivalence in saying a racist businessperson or server is the same as a racist cop who has a weapon and has the support of dominant groups if that weapon is used when it doesn't have to be.

That being said, I don't actively want harm to befall cops, but I'm not crying about it. They're working for a racist institution that is actively against people like me and while violence is awful this is nowhere near the level of horrific cops do daily.
