Encyclopedia was sick but the Hardy Boys were not imo. I wonder if Encyclopedia Brown holds up? I loved kids mystery books when i was small. Jigsaw Jones was my shit
I LOVED Series of Unfortunate Events, i made friends with my elementary school librarian because of that series

there was one that made my jaw drop with its twist ending when i was younger. it was like an entire family ended up being monsters after it seemed like this other adult was the one preying on them but in a creepy way? i'll have to find it. also one of the blob ones and one of the ones with this puppet or mask or something were creepy as hell back in the day

this is cool but it's no dinosaur jr

im kidding this is sick as heck my friend goes to school for jazz and i've heard him play a riff from this song a lot and anyway i like this a lot

this was cool do i like metalcore now?? i don't like chug chug chug but there was a lot of interesting stuff and they didn't chug a lot

Quite! "Doomed" was the standout that did it for me. Tasty drop-D tones.

It’s like southern metal, well, that album at least. Not so much chugg as there are just bad ass riffs.

Years ago I asked Jordan Buckley at the ETID tent at Warped if he had any of his solo t-shirt designs there, he said no, but he would go grab some and meet me back at the tent an hour later with them. I didn't know how to react and got this really inexplicable, peculiar anxiety because a person that (at the time) I had placed on a pedestal was going out of their way for me. I didn't go back, but watched their set later. We made eye contact while he was playing and I still feel bad about it to this day.

They are incredible. I had heard of them but never gave them an honest shot until I saw them on Jimmy Kimmel years ago lol, and I was like so confused that it was on network tv

You might like Maylene and the Sons of Disaster or Norma Jean's later material if youre into those rust belt riffs.

I know this is completely off topic but this is basically a chat thread now

Just got home from seeing Bleachers and they're so fucking good. Somehow the show felt like a band that's been around forever doing their greatest hits

I call people nerds because of Always Sunny. Also, I'm probably nerdier than most people. I'm like a nerd, but not smart. Is there a word for that?

Smh if your answer to BMTH's best album isn't There Is A Hell Believe Me I've Seen It, There Is A Heaven Let's Keep It A Secret then I really don't know what to tell you.

Bleachers is always on topic in every thread! One of the best bands and best live bands around. Like you said every song feels huge and like it's an absolute essential to the set. Jack is a superstar.

    Ugh

So last night as I was going to bed I did the software update on my phone (iOS 11.0.1) and this morning on the drive in to work I discovered that my Apple Music library is empty.

Has anybody else had this happen and if so, were you able to recover it?

I guess worst case scenario I just rebuild it from scratch...

    :(
