Wrecked 'em? Damn near killed 'em!

Damn, best of luck to ya. What's the longest distance you've all had to drive in a single day, either by yourself or with one other person?

Hey buddy. Miss you all. Busy weekend playing Zelda. That's really my only excuse. How did the speech go?

I wasn't around either this weekend! Speech went great! An older lady said it was "the best best man speech she's ever heard" She said usually people are vulgar and insulting

I once drove from Lancaster, PA to Elon, NC with my girlfriend in college for spring break. 8 hour drive.
Another was a 7 hour drive from Newport, RI back to West Chester, PA. Ususally a 5 hour drive but I had to drop a friend off in Queens and traffic was shit that day.

Probably 12 hours. Posted this earlier in the thread but I woke up in San Diego, drove to pick up my girlfriend in Las Vegas, drove us down to a concert in Los Angeles and then back to San Diego

And what a way you won me over

I was kinda hopeful it could still be The Hotelier, as they've just announced a small European tour in early December, with a couple of UK dates (and no London dates).

I think they are touring the US while the UK Brand New shows are on though :(.

By the way, I'm still trying to accept the fact that I actually did see Paul McCartney. I legitimately teared up when he took the stage. Still doesn't feel real

About a 12 hour (driving time) trip from Ohio to North Carolina but stopping about every hour and a half to two hours to feed and change the diaper of my one year old (at the time). It was a very rough trip!

That’s why I hate out of town weddings.

Holy shit, thats rough. My girlfriend has driven across the country a couple times by herself. She said Missouri, Arkansas and New Mexico are weird places to drive through, but everything else is great.

Nice, hopefully not too much to catch up on. I just ate an apple, about to make some tea, and working on a to-do list for the day and week.

Also, I will probably forget your name, so don't be offended, haha.

For the holidays every year, my wife and I drive down to (western) North Carolina, which is about a 10-hour drive, plus stops and traffic, so typically 12+ hours. And in the summer every other year we drive to upstate New York, which is about 12 hours, plus stops and traffic, so typically 14+ hours.

    Longest drive?

One of my best friends had his bachelor party in Outer Banks (12 hour drive) in 2015 from a Wednesday to a Sunday. We rented out like a 20-person house but me and his brother had Cavs tickets to the NBA Finals games so we stayed in town for Game 4 which was on a Thursday night and him and I drove to Outer Banks on Friday - left at 8 a.m. and didn't get down there until like 9:30 p.m.

The funny (worst) part: the bachelor party had WAY more than 20 people and the owner found out we had like 30+ people in the house and we all got evicted on Saturday morning, so we had to hop back into our car less than 12 hours after getting there...just to drive 12 hours back. We drove 12 hours halfway across the country on back to back days.

It was one of the worst experiences of my life.

They're not on sale yet! And true ok I'll do it. It's just so expensive (like $75 before fees, but it's a small venue for him so I guess that's fair), and I have no one to go with, not that I really care that much going alone anyway.
Absolutely true, but I'm confident this one will happen, and if not, then at least I'll get a refund.

You will. He cancelled when I was supposed to see him in Buffalo, and you'll get a refund. It's a once in a lifetime kind of experience to see him. Gotta spend more sometimes for those types of experiences!

Haha I mean my once in a lifetime already came since I saw him at Riot Fest... but i do feel like it would be a different experience to see him with just him and actual fans rather than people casually seeing him because he happens to be there. Also my friends at RF were not into it at all which definitely hampered my enjoyment. (I'm definitely going you've convinced me.)

I'm not sure if I used hampered the right way, but you know what I mean.
