Yeah I have, loved it. There's one on netflix called My Scientology Movie also want to watch that. Oh and I also recommend The Master ok i'm done with scientology related recs lol

 

Listening to Fleet Foxes. They've announced a show in Melbourne and I hope I can afford it lol

 

Waste is probably my favorite. That or No Control. My favorites change every time I listen through though tbh.

I think I like some of the more straightforward rock songs out of them these days, but I think the record has a really good balance of fast and slow, quiet and loud. There's only a few songs from this record I can just put on by themselves, so I get the "whole painting" thing."

When I was in middle school I saw Guess Who in theater. My friend's dad paid for it and gave us a ride and everything. I think he wanted us to learn a lesson about race that only Ashton Kutcher and Bernie Mac could teach us.

I did like the movie though.

The lyrics to Out Of Mana are so odd, they're bordering on incoherent "jibber jabber"(to quote the song lol).

Does anyone have any ideas or interpretations of this song? The lyrics just seem completely random, especially the line about the gym.

 

I used to feel like the song was using videogames as a metaphor. Now I feel like it's just about videogames. I think it's about the Diablo franchise. Idk though.

 

I love that song but he gym line completely takes me out of it for the line’s duration haha my head just fills with the smell of sweat and weights.

 

I'm not a gym guy or much of a video game guy but I love the song and the lyrics are great. I think most of the lyrics are about world of War craft? Not positive though

 

The line about going to the gym makes me realize I should probably go to the gym. Then I get sad, but not the kind of sad I usually get from listening to Brand New.
