What is your most revered song on Science Fiction?

I’m not sure if I used revered correctly, but you know what I mean.

It honestly could change day to day. Right now, probably Lit Me Up or 137. You?

If it's not "Waste" or "No Control" then I don't care.

Probably a three way tie between Same Logic/Teeth, In The Water, and 137.

    Sorry for the copout answer!

Just got home from the 24 hour pharmacy...can’t these kids be a little more considerate and get sick during normal business hours?

Same Logic/Teeth is still the best SF song.

I dont know if I can possibly pick a favorite track though. I absolutely know I couldn't pick a favorite track from Daisy or TDAG.

It'd be like picking your favorite color in a painting....very difficult....because it's the completed, whole, painting that makes it amazing...more so than any individual part.

But! This album is so new, I'll give it a stab! The easiest way to do this for myself would be to just divide them into tracks that I think are perfect, and tracks that are lacking something *.

Now, before I do this I want to say, I do love this album.

    Top-tier tracks:

    Lit Me Up
    Waste
    Could Never Be Heaven
    Same Logic
    137
    Desert
    Batter Up

    Second-tier tracks:

    Cant Get It Out
    - Not a bad song. This is just not what I want from Brand New at this point in their career. Reminds me of the some of the tracks they released before Science Fiction.

    Out Of Mana
    - The lyrics are very odd. The melody and delivery in the verses I'm not a huge fan of. Reminds me of NIN in the verses. I really like the random outro song, cool touch.

    In The Water
    - This was a hard one. I find a lot of hooks from this song stuck in my head. But ultimately, I think this song could be way more interesting(this is Brand New afterall).

    No Control
    - I feel like this is a fairly straight-forward song in a similar way that "Cant Get It Out" is. But! It works much better on this song. The verses are really fun. Still leaves it as a second-tier song for me though.

451- This song sounds like a more accessible version of what they did on Daisy(the album). Probably fun live. But I'd prefer any of the aggressive tracks from Daisy over this.

If I had a gun to my head and had to pick one favorite track though, I guess it'd be "Same Logic". Beating out "Lit Me Up", "Desert", and "137" as contenders for favorite track.

    * This album didnt surprise, or grab me, as much as TDAG and Daisy did when they were released.

How about you, Kingjohn, what's your favorite?

Pretty much any time works for me! I can’t guarantee that I wouldn’t get interrupted during it but I’ll try. I work in an engineering office and some days are worse than others with people stopping by my desk :/

I really want to. I’ll have to watch it on demand or something. My mom called me earlier today and was telling me how good it was

I can't recommend this show enough: Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath Full Episodes, Video & More | A&E

I'm all caught up on season 2 now. Latest episode focused on Scientology's obsession with recruiting celebrities. Hearing Leah talked about how they pressured her into getting Kevin James is fascinating. I've watched all of season 1 and now season 2 its so good but tough to watch at times. Riveting but also disturbing/eye opening stuff because of how messed up this cult is like. I really want to read her book Troublemaker.

Also I was so bummed to find out that Elisabeth Moss is a scientologist :(

My wife and I read her book last year! It was an interesting, quick read. I haven’t watched her show (have heard good things) though. Have you seen Going Clear? It’s an HBO documentary.
