Ohhhh. You're Irish. The Tick was a very popular cartoon when I was young (a wee lad as you guys say) and it was really great parody of comic book superheroes. The new show is a pretty great deconstruction of the modern superhero genre. It's probably not up your alley, but if you decide to check it out, please tell Brian Lane! I'm worried he doesn't have the time! Please tell him the episodes are short and there's only six episodes!

hello @Kingjohn_654 if i am being honest i think seinfeld is terribly overrated. i have never been able to make it past the second season of the show as i find jerry’s particular sense of humor unbearable in sitcom form. i realize however that this is one of my more “trash” opinions

Haha you all thought you got rid of me but I just fell behind and had to actually get some stuff today so I didn't have time to catch up, so now you all get my thoughts on the last 10 pages whether you want them or not.

I'm very happy you decided to watch the Office, but I never want to see you say it's background noise ever again. That's only acceptable once you've seen the entire series in full twice.

This post did not get nearly enough likes, I'd like you to all go back and like this.

Listened to IAAN for the first time in a while today, and I can enjoy it so much more knowing it's just a one off and not a preview of what's coming. Not that I didn't like it before, but you get what I'm getting at.

Season three is where it hits its sweet spot!

I'm a big fan of Jerry Seinfeld. I feel like he is a gateway to standup comedy for a lot of people. He's the reason I sought out comedy. He's not in my top 5 or anything, but I think he's great.

 

I think it's pretty obvious you don't know squat about Brian Lane. He usually gets whatever's in the $5 box at the time.

yeah, @Kingjohn_654 i think that's actually part of the reason i never liked seinfeld. i'd already gotten into comedy before attempting to watch the show and missed out on jerry being a gateway, or whatever. i'll give season 3 a watch this weekend though.

 

"The contest" is the episode that finally got the public's and critics' attention.

It seems pretty mild nowadays, but they were really pushing boundaries back then.
