I always see this name around but never have checked them out. I'll listen to the new one when it drops tomorrow for sure

It took me about 33 years to understand how time works, but I think I get it now

 

To be honest, I’ve never listened to them. I know their singer does guest vocals in The Sweet Life by ETID though. And I saw Mariachi El Bronx open up for Foo Fighters once

 

This album is just good punk-tinged rock and roll. If you like this track, you'll probably like the whole thing (and much of their back catalog).

 

It's been about a week now since I've listened to Science Fiction and I'm very much looking forward to going back and revisiting it this weekend.

I also kind of roll my eyes at the "Similar Artists" portion of Apple Music when it comes to Brand New. Recommends pretty much TBS and bands that started around the same time/toured with them but don't really sound like them at all.

It's ok Apple, you can just put "There can only be one Brand New." We will understand.

Also, I know i brought it up yesterday and I dunno if any further discussion of it took place, but I checked out the new Foo Fighters record yesterday, and I gotta say I was underwhelmed. The singles are solid, but beyond that, it doesn't do much for me, and there's something about the production that just seems flat to me (for lack of a better term).

 

TBS has also changed their sound a lot and doesn't sound anything like artists recommended either.
