I listened to them quite a bit from the late 90s to the mid 00s but haven’t kept up with their past couple releases. Seeing them in October for their Clumsy 20 year anniversary tour so that should be fun!

 

I'd recommend looking at the tracklist on r/radiohead when you listen

 

Muertos Vivos rules. It has some heavier songs on it. It's like their version of Sum 41's Chuck. Horrible comparaison but yeah worth checking out imo even though i havent heard it in ages.

 

Honestly know known of their stuff outside of what I've heard out in public / radio

I think they're first record is actually good, Try Honesty is a dope song. They're the most Canadian band.

 

I bet they are good live. I've heard some of their live stuff and frankly it was even better than the album versions. That live release they did was excellent. But yeah not a bad band at all. I never liked their band name tho for some reason

 

Should I look at the tracklist while listening along or should I be completely surprised? I already accidentally read your spoilers lol

i remember liking some songs a long time ago by matthew good band and trebleshooter to name a couple

edit: oops, it’s treble charger. it’s been a while

 

the only time i’ve ever seen them actually was in 2002 when they played a promo show in the mall where i live. it was kind of a weird atmosphere haha

Its funny how bands like OLP and Billy Talent are massive/huge in Canada yet never really broke out south of the border for some reason. What venue size will they be playing in on the Clumsy anniversary tour?

They’re playing the House of Blues for their Cleveland stop. 1,300 capacity I believe.

 

We're talking about Canadian bands, eh? When I was, like, 10, I was obsessed with the Moist - Sliver album. Will still listen to it every now and then if it comes up on Shuffle in my car.
