I couldn't agree more.. its so hard to get a song to sound this good. I woudn't be surprised if we are saying its the bands best song in 10 years... or 7 years

I want a 2024 BN album with the “seven years” part in the intro

That part always creeps me out because it comes out of nowhere

 

i love this outro too... it sort of transports us to a different place.. if we are in the water now we are in the desert... which is the opposite of water.. wow I'm a genius

 

Do we know FOR SURE that the Daisy call back voice is HAL 9000

 

ahhh the song that inspired me to take guitar lessons

the feel and articulation in this song is something special

 

its REVELATION

 

Guitar parts in Desert are so subtle and underrated.

Yeah I think i can learn it pretty easily, but getting the feel and articulation down will be hard

 

The vocal performance on this song is amazing, I love Jesse's voice so much.. probably more than anyone. he's no andy hull live but no one has his tone and his ability to move me.

 

I still get chills when the Daisy callback happens.

 

this little guitar interlude is nice, also those ambient sounds behind it do a lot for the song.

 

the "dont give up your gun" followed by the whip sound is my favorite moment on the album

 

The call/responses with the high harmonies in the 2nd chorus is unnerving and I love it

I have wondered if there is any relevance to the callback being on that track, or if it's just the part of the album as a whole they thought it belonged in.
