Festival sets are usually more stripped down, if anything. I can't really see them going through the trouble of making that stage set up just to use it for two shows. I'm sure it'll be around at least through the October run.

like yeah i believe Edmonton will be amazing this year, theyre projected for greatness, they have the best young talent in the league. but its not like all of a sudden youre a golden state warriors fan lol

I do need an honorary Western Conference team though. Edmonton does seem like a good choice. I wouldn't mind going to the Edmonton @ Columbus game but it's on a Tuesday night and I'm a couple hours away from Columbus. Could be tough.

Speaking of kids and pictures, we have these Melissa & Doug Water WOW! coloring book things for our kids (basically, the page colors when it gets wet) and this morning they discovered that they can lick the page and it would color just the same.




Smart little fuckers.

 

haha We have those books too. my kids have not licked them yet. but they do know how to open the little paint brush things to try to fill them up in the bathroom while making the biggest mess in less than 20 seconds possible.

 

Is this before or after you shared your morning peach with them?

Are you familiar with Crayola Color Wonder markers? Basically they only work on certain sheets of paper. So no marks on floors, walls, tabletops, clothes, bodies, etc. It's actually kind of nice.

 

It's too muggy in Boston. When September comes around I fully expect fall vibes (best New England season) to set in.

 

Hahaha, mine usually just suck the water out of the paint brush.

My wife's comment was: "I mean, this is effective so I should be proud they figured it out, but it's gross and annoying."

She also said that shortly after this they had spilled one of their water bottles all over the couch while she was out of the room and she came back to them each with a cloth in hand trying to clean it up.

 

We have these kind of paint books. Anybody familiar with them?

 

This was while I was at work, but my wife had probably shared her pear with them. I ate my breakfast while they were strapped in their high chairs eating their own breakfast today, so I didn't have to share.

Yes, those seem pretty great. But they're still not completely out of the putting everything in their mouths phase, so we haven't gotten to those yet.

 

My son watched an episode of Daniel Tiger where he's allergic to peaches. Now my son is telling everyone that I'm allergic to peaches and that they make me scratchy.

 

My mother once told my niece that a particular serving of corn that was on my mother's plate was disgusting, and as a result my niece still thinks that ALL corn is disgusting and refuses to eat it.

My son was trying to tell me this morning that I can't eat peaches. He is clearly the one in charge.
