Oh yeah these are more so not peeves, just "you really still don't know the right one yet? SHEESH" moments for me.

 

Have you ever gone to Pub Frato in Concord? Same owners. Pub Frato is great. I've ate there probably a dozen times (although the menu has changed a few times already). Still need to check out the food at Brim. I'm pretty sure the two beers I got at Brim were the Pale Ale and the Blonde Ale. It was a 'getting drunk' type of night when I was there and was one of several stops I made in DTW that night, so typically I stay away from the IPAs and heavy stouts when I'm drinking a lot. If I were to go there just for dinner, I probably would have gotten something heavier to drink.

 

Separate bananas is A O K.

Any fruit that you like, sink your teeth into. I see parents let their kids take a bite or whatever. Yes, I know this is petty but it fucks with my head. ICE CREAM CONES ARE WORSE.

 

This isn't really a pet peeve, but it annoys me that the proper pronunciation of "bruschetta" is brew-sket-uh. It just feels wrong in my mouth, like saying "pasghetti" instead of "spaghetti".

 

Wait what?! I have been twice? I missed the fruit sharing stand apparently.

 

I know right? Dude is unreal.

I STILL have not been to Pub Frato yet. It's ridiculous. My in-laws live right off of Auburn Rd. a couple minutes from there but somehow we haven't been there. My mom works right by there and she goes there pretty much every week for tacos. I need to get there.

And I've heard they have (or at least had) poutine there, if any of our resident Canadians are ever in the area.

 

Went to a mewithoutYou show where Aaron was passing a bowl of fruit before the show with people waiting outside. It was the most unique concert experience I've had for sure haha

 

Haha I am 26 and have no shame admitting I am not ready!

It's just one example, cause it's probably where I've seen it most. But yeah, during the summer time people are just so comfortable with each other and their edibles. I am very much at times. With my food, I am not.

 

Ok but like, are we talking everybody gets one out of the bowl Oprah style, or people were sharing what was inside the bowl? If you say the latter I might scream.

Yeah, with kids you very quickly get comfortable with things you normally wouldn’t be. And I can’t eat fruit in front of my kids without them screaming and asking for a bite.

 

In Edmonton? LOL no way....It's like 30 degrees here haha

 

It's 79 degrees (err...26 C) where I'm at. Not snowing at all.
