That Flo Rida story was some great cringe comedy. I love the awkwardness of his second telling of the story.

"Can I measure your tree?" Was a pretty great Darius moment as well.

Yeah, it was definitely awkward! I was kind of hoping he'd tell it the same way he told it earlier to see how everyone would react to it, but it played out pretty much how I expected.

I liked when Earn said "I don't even know who this guy is" and Darius said "We met earlier - I gave you a cookie" I like the writing quite a bit.

 

What time next year do you guys think BN will be done?

Didn't watch Take Shelter yet. The movie date turned into a movie/get hot pretzels/go to Target date so we got back later than expected. I ended up watching an episode of Twin Peaks tonight instead.

mother! was really good in my own opinion. My wife liked it too, but it really stressed her out much more than it did for me. It's definitely something that inspires reflection and causes you to start drawing a lot of allegorical lines to other things. Very much an Aronofsky film for sure. Avoid spoilers at all cost and try not to watch anymore trailers/tv spots. It's best to go into it knowing as little as possible.

 

Not much man. Spent the day trying to replace the wiper fluid pump in my wife's car. Expected it to take 30 minutes and it took all day....

Ouch! I'm guessing she was activating the pump with an empty reservoir too many times. That's what usually burns up those motors.

That sounds frustrating. I cleaned my room, which felt really good to get everything sorted and condensed so I'm not tripping over stuff.

I also watched an insane amount of TV. I watched all of Atlanta. I watched almost all of American Vandal.

I went to Circle K for a soda. I didn't get a receipt because I already know that after taxes, it's 97¢, but when I got home, I saw they charged me $3.18. I felt so betrayed.
