Anberlin is one of my favs. I didn't love New Surrender but I love songs on it. Vital is sooooo underrated IMO. Man I miss that band. Also Dark Is The Way isn't near as poppy as New Surrender! Also that band was made up of some of the nicest dudes I've ever met.

Long story short, @Jason Tate was right to be mad at you @teebs41!!!

 

They played in Ottawa I remember going to that show! Openers were Between the trees i think they were called and Madina Lake haha

 

It's been nearly 10 years since Jason has had to put me in my place. Now all I get from him is an occasional like, maybe I've matured

 

I just listened to a The War on Drugs Sonya because everyone is raving about them.

You know when you paint a picture in your head that a band sounds a type of way or makes a genre of music just because of their band name?

I totally painted The War on Drugs in my head to sound either like full on Screamo or like Architects.

I think that was only.... 5 years ago? But yes, I don't quite age that much over time

 

I think I joined AP in 2012 or 2013. But didn't really post until 2014 or 2015. I've kind of been in and out of the site since I started posting though. So I don't think I'm really someone most people remember.

 

It's my dream to see them live too. Everyone they have been close to me it didn't work out :(

Finally caught up on this thread. I'm pretty sure this is what Brand New meant when they said it would be a loud, fun, and strange demise. This thread is on par with the original TDAG vinyl thread on Vinyl Collective for those that partook in that. All that's missing are Shaq dancing gifs.

Pretty sure they're only playing an hour. I believe that's what someone found out after asking the promoter.

 

2001 I think? Obv not as a forum poster then as I'm not sure it existed yet but I found the site because it was linked on either blink's site or another blink fan site and Jason had a completely different teaser of TOYPAJ clips than the main one blink had up themselves. So I been here for the duration pretty much though completely inactive from time to time.
