It was made to be played in full so it seems fitting to me if they performed it in full live. I def need to see that if it does happen. Seeing TDAG in its entirety was a real treat.

so i just figured out "Waste" on guitar.... i didnt realize how much i have listened to this album until i was able to play and sing like half the song without looking at the lyrics online

I really wish I got to see TDAG in full. I contemplated driving 5 hours for it. If they play Science Fiction in full anywhere nearby, I'll absolutely be there

 

I am hoping beyond hope that the UK dates are Science Fiction in full with a few old tracks as an "encore". I've seen them roughly 20 times since 2003 and I've seen them tour every album multiple times, if there's a chance I may only see them once or twice more I wanna see as much of this new masterpiece as possible

 

I made a roadtrip out of it and it was so worth it. I went to the Ithaca date. 4 hours away but stopped in Syracuse first then went in the Finger Lakes region it's beautiful over there bunch of wineries, cideries and then onto Ithaca

It's been a day since I checked this out, have listened to could Never Be Heaven at least 20 times

 

So I did get round to the new LP's today. QOTSA and Turnover did nothing for me. The War On Drugs and Iron & Wine were absolutely fantastic.

 

It's one of my favorite spots for sure. Did your wife go to Escoffier?

 

I'm guessing I'm alone when I say this is my favorite track on the album. 137 close second.

Unfortunately I severely doubt it's my kind of thing. A great friend of mine is good friends of theirs and keeps pushing them to me but it's not my thing.

Is out of mana the common least favorite? I struggle to make it through the whole thing. It would probably flourish in a live setting though.

 

I haven't either I was just curious to know if it was good. The first one was pretty good and I liked the singles off the second one for the most part so I'll check it out eventually.

If it's your kind of thing then I say shoot. It sounds quite good for the style it is, it's just not my style.
