Also a cardinalfish is super small, can picture it swimming right to the head of a while and whispering something menacing

These are what I used too, you can really hear the sh in the doubled vocal that's buried a bit more

The lyrics is definitely fish, it sounds weird though. But with headphones the SH is there

100% it is "fish" and "says"

So I'm pretty certain those lyrics are correct. And I am totally here for them.

 

Cardinal fish is also endangered because of being captured for aquariums to be viewed for pleasure without much care for the actual fish itself.
