CRAP, Sing the Sorrow should've DEFINITELY made my list. Also Low Teens is so good, still feels a little new to put it on my list, props though.

I have come to the conclusion that In The Water sounds like a mix of Straylight, Eisley, and Brand New, and I dig that.

The banjo and mandolin put that song over the top. I think it's my favorite on the album.

Warped Tour 2002 or 2003. Can't remember exactly.

Our warped tour was at Darien Lake(which is a Six Flags amusement park)
Prior to the show, went to ride a couple of rollar coasters with my ex, and her friend who knew nothing about the bands other than whoever the big MTV pull was that year (All American rejects maybe?)
We were both singing/screaming "Artist's Rendering Of Me" chorus on the coaster.
When we got off a guy walked up and said "Who was singing Poison the Well" We were both like "It was us" Turned out it was PTW's manager, who gave us backstage passes, and as he was walking away, her friend was like "Wait what about me, I love 'boys in the well'!!"

Needless to say he turned around and laughed and kept walking.

Thats a sick story lol. Once at warped tour Tim Armstrong walked by me backstage and said "whats up", and I chilled with Coheed on their bus. But no random stories like that

My coolest story is probably that I became friends with Shane from Silverstein on their A Shipwreck in the Sand tour because I recommended a vegetarian/vegan place they should go to. Told him I was going after the show and he should join. He called the restaurant and asked if anyone from the Silverstein concert was there. They gave me the phone and he was like "Hey it's Shane we need food and our bus isn't leaving for another couple of hours" I bought a ton of food for him and the band and delivered it to his bus. We've been in contact ever since.

Nice, I have been friends with Sonny from FFTL for a while, so I got to hang out with Wes Borland and gave them rides to PF Changs. And then we all played laser tag.

I think I love science fiction bc it has so many different styles, grunge, Nashville tinged rock, 90s alt rock, sort of a deja style on can't get it out, and the traditional brand new moody ballads. Songs like 451 and desert are songs you never would have thought that you could hear from them but they do it really really well. Devil and god exists in an incredible space but all of the songs exist in that same space. And somehow on science fiction they make the transition between 451 and batter up work so well, it still feels cohesive and part of the narrative but the songs are super different, it's a lot more challenging record to put together but somehow they knocked it out of the park

Stand Up And Scream was so close to being switched out with Young New England on my list but Transit's vocals are just too perfect.

In my opinion, The King of Limbs is probably their worst/least essential album. I didn't get into them until In Rainbows came out so I always recommend that as a starting point.

I haven't talked to him in a while, nothing bad or anything he is just one of the biggest acts on the planet so it was hard to stay in touch. But totally understandable.

That's why everyone is making lists of favorite albums by other artists, right? :-)
