Swoon is a literal perfect album, the production is so amazing I hope I can one day make an album half as good sounding

 

Those are the allegations I was referring to, but the original post was on Twitter, I followed the girl. She said they were false and a week later her account was deleted. The Reddit post is what’s been going around, but the rumor was squashed way back.

*edit: they were also only against their bass player, as far as their current members.

 

That post doesn't say it's only against their bass player, those photos include other members. I also don't see anywhere where it's "squashed."

 

Girl deleted her account over 2 years ago, unfortunately. It was like right after their old guitar player left the band (August 2015ish).

 

That’s an excellent point. Also while you’re mentioning them I can’t wait to see what Gina brings to the new Baroness album.

 

OK, so at this point we know 1) there's allegations against a lot of members of the band, 2) someone online said someone that deleted their account said one of the allegations was fake? I don't think this changes much to be honest.

 

I swear we both listen to all the same bands, was just about to post Nervus. Also I didn’t realise Em was in another band, I’ll have to check them out.

 

Still no metal band I can really "get" into. *sigh*

 

Yeah we do haha. Yeah her new band only just played their first show last week, they have an album out in January I think(or maybe it's February)

Said what were fake? The screen shots? Everything against every member? Her age? Photoshopped? I don't understand what you're saying happened and was said ...

 

If you know what sort of things you like in metal, I’m sure the regulars in the metal thread would be more than happy to help give you some recs to help get you into the genre.

first of all ive kept it quiet for so long as i was young at the time and personal reasons basically i was dumb and thought it wasnt a problem and im saying it now because obviously there was more shadyness going on
so like 2 years ago i followed fil on here and he actually used it and i got his snapchat and messaged him like oh i was that anon and we talked and he quickly asked me for nudes (i was 15) and thought why not i might be going to one of their shows and fil knew that and its not hard to imagine what i was thinking might happen, so i sent him nudes and he didnt really send me and particulary graphic shit just some cheeky stuff, he would always snapchat me when they were doing tours in a van bored then one time all the nd boys added me + the photographer (james arnold) and tour manager (chris cole) and there other mate with them,all of them asked me for nudes aside from ben,lloyd sent me naked ones not of his dick but you know like mirror shots when you see the face but also pubes,chris and james would literally harrass me for nudes and send so many gross dickpics,i ended up blocking them, also dani sent me a video of all of them in the van saying ‘nancy my last name show us your fanny’ and all laughing and yeah it was as ridiculous as it sounds,when i said no to sending pictures of my pussy dani told me to get some self respect???? also got screenshots of fil and can show old messages from chris on facebook,got james’s nudes, can also show where fil liked my pictures on insta

Is fake? And was admitted as fake? By the person that originally posted it? Are there screen shots of that?

 

That’s the thing tho. Every time there’s a metal conversation I’m listening to the recs but nothing really sticks.

You've probably been recommended them already but based on the fact you're in this thread I think O'Brother is a good way to get into Metal. They're not super heavy (more like post-metal) but are a great band to go for. Same with Devil Sold His Soul.
