I feel like @ncarrab is writing about me!

I am pretty much in the exact same situation and can relate to everything you're saying

We've been listing some of the kids stuff (exersaucer, jumper, etc) on the buy/sell/trade groups and most of the clothes we're giving to family or coworkers. It's honestly as much (or more) about clearing space than getting money.

As far as cds, I bought a ton probably from about age 14 to 29 (so 1998-2013) and probably have somewhere around 1000 or so (not including a ton of burnt cds). I've never actually counted them, but I think it's probably just make me feel bad for spending so much money on them. At this point, I have them in several containers in my basement. My basement is half finished and half unfinished, so I use the unfinished portion for storage.

My first ever bought CD was Godsmack - Faceless from FYE ._. my friends still tease me to this day about that lol. Guess it makes sense since Alice In Chains is my favorite band so a blatant ripoff band would be a CD I bought when I was too young to know better lol.

I actually for the first time ever sold an old Dining Room table that I had been storing in my basement for $400 online. Just posted it right to Facebook and within minutes someone was interested and they ultimately bought it. My wife and I need to start doing that more. Even our furniture is ridiculous. We have 4 couches alone on the first floor of our house (2 in living room and 2 in 'front room' which is essentially just another living room).

I will admit, some songs I still shamelessly enjoy but I can't help but feel like "Layne..... ;_;" even listening to them cus I wont hear him sing again sometimes.

I remember my Mom getting me the S/T album for Christmas the year OG Prince of Persia came out for PS2, playing that game listening to Voodoo with my lil bro haha, fun times.

It had the best reviews on CNET, was Jason’s recommendation and a 65” would be too big for my space!

I have a 47-inch 1080p LED TV. I probably won't buy a new one until we sell our house and move which would likely be some time between 2019 and 2021.

I'm tryna remember the first CD/Tape I remember getting bought for him.... probably Hanson - Middle Of Nowhere or Kiss - Carnival Of Souls lol.

I also remember my Mom getting me a tape of the boy band Five (anyone remember them?? I remember them having a disney special lol) when I was really young too..... don't remember if that was before or after the aforementioned ones.

I do remember when I was 14 or 15 I'd have to ask my older friends to buy me rap albums because some places would check IDs and wouldn't sell parental advisory albums to anyone under 16.
