Because of all the hype about her and her new album, I checked out Julien Baker's Tiny Desk Concert for a first impression which I just finished.

Some people over on reddit are so entitled and downright awful. Yes, there have been delays in pressing and shipping. Is that frustrating? Sure. Is it the end of the world? Not at all. We all got download codes with our vinyl orders, so what's the problem? I'm excited for my vinyl to arrive but until then, I'm happy to listen on my iPod and laptop. I'm not going to say that "I've wasted my money" and "this isn't good enough" because hey, shit happens and I can still listen to Science Fiction whenever I want! The band show tremendous care for fans, honestly. They've never ever treated us badly or lied. They simply make music and if you like it, awesome. And they encourage people to start their own bands and give them hope through tough times. That's incredible imo. Complaining that delay in shipping "isn't good enough" and "want money back" and blaming the band is ridiculous. God, I'm happy this community exists. Sorry for the rant lol, thought I'd check reddit and I remembered why I stay off there

 

Yeah, I've been posting over there more since the new album, and there are a lot of weird comments for sure. I think there's like 20000 subscribers so I'm honestly surprised by the fact that it's not more awful ha. I usually downvote those comments tho
Yeah, the complaining can get tiresome, bc it really isn't a big deal at the end of the day. It will be here soon I'm sure. I feel like most records nowadays get delayed.
