Feels fittingly *deep* for a Used album

 

No I honestly think the guy is just that commited to the used. Its strange yet compelling at the same time

 

According to TUG even deep listeners will be blown away by the new record. I like to consider myself a deep listener so thats why i need to hear it.

 

This Julian Baker record has emotionally destroyed me

 

Calling it now: The Used - [Whatever the hell the album’s called] is AOTY

still think jason should make it so we can see our most 'liked' posts.

 

I just listened to my first Julien Baker song because of this thread, I don't have time for Bert Macklin FBI and his band's terrible new album.

 

I seriously can't hear or say Bert and not have this come to mind.

 

Honestly after that Branden and Quinn podcast I have no desire to give any of my time and energy to Bert or Jeph.

 

Also when an album like Turn Out The Lights comes out, why waste your time with The Used?

 

I'll never forget my most liked anomaly of a post. It was a corny pun that I posted with a light chuckle to myself, and then for whatever reason didn't come back on until much later and was like

Glad you enjoyed the podcast @fenway89 I told you it was good. I'll listen to Julien Baker and even The Used at least once. I don't discriminate. I've said it before but curiosity gets the best of me and I can't help myself.

I try. But every time I give a new Used song a try, Berts vocal ruin it for me. His vocal performance on s/t is unreal. I can’t believe how bad it’s gotten.

I've heard it. Unless you like post-IL&D The Used the most, and vocals that are like a cheese grater on your patience, I'd say don't start diggin' that hole tonight.

But he def deleted some of his posts. So maybe he is not as commited as I thought he was.

 

I wish I were as devoted to anything at all as he is to that band that had one okay song over a decade ago.
