I went to pick up a boxspring tonight and randomly had "Send The Pain Below" stuck in my head when I was driving. Threw on some Chevelle. I feel like they're one of those bands from that genre who are actually really good

 

They are a great band. I honestly like all their albums a whole lot.

 

Glad I'm not alone!

 

Guess this confirms their last show is December 2018

 

Yeah! I was a really big fan around Wonder What’s Next through Sci Fi Crimes. After that I haven’t followed as much but that album stretch was fantastic

 

I use to be behind like 20 pages in this thread and be like shit that's nothing lemme catch up real quick.

Now I see I'm 5 pages behind and say forget it.

Anyway I'm at a Katy Perry concert. Don't ask questions I don't know why I'm here either.

 

It's probably gonna be fun as hell even though I don't listen to her

 

Yeah I don't even bother trying to keep up with this thread, I just hop in and skip all the missed pages since I last checked (about 200 in today's case) and hope that I can contribute to whatever we're talking about

Anyway I haven't seen Katy since 2008 but I'd def go to a show of hers now if it was free, they're probably lots of fun

 

Their most recent ones are "return to form" records. Real good

 

When I was a kid I wished I was Pete Loeffler. Most of their stuff is just nostalgic for me but Vena Sera is legitimately a really good album.

Last time I saw them live (probably 3 or so years ago?) O’Brother opened for them. Both bands were great, but I think O’Brother stole the show

 

O’Brother opened for Chevelle!?!? That is amazing. And yes, they are incredible live. That’s how I felt when they opened for Dillinger Escape Plan
