Black Mile still might be my favorite album this year.

I think this is the best Brand New album

What about it do you think seperates it from the last couple of albums?

 

I don't know if I think it's the best but it's definitely top 3.

 

It's hard to judge this against TDAG because of the place I was in when I heard it, but I listened to them back to back a couple times the other night and I don't know... I just feel like this album is such an amazing, delicate conclusion for these guys to come to. Maybe it's just resonating with me more because it's only a few months old, maybe its the few beers I've had. I just feel like this surpasses anything they've done as a whole.

As for Daisy, I wasn't aware of the band when it came out and it's always had a loose standing with me. Great record but doesn't hold a candle to this

 

I prefer Bleachers, but I respect your opinion!

 

It really is a great bookend and this album came out at a time that I really needed it. I'd certainly put it in my top 5 from this band. ;)

It's over 100 degrees today in SoCal and my poor Brand New record from UO is just sitting in the sun on my porch baking right now Hope it's not too warped by the time I make it home.

 

If it is I would return it and get a new one.

I would rank SF as my #1 Brand New album. HitsDailyDouble is reporting it will be #9 on the Billboard 200 this week with 30-32k.

From having the biggest #1 drop off of all time to selling 30k again 2 months later. This band is amazing.
