Yep and When You're Around.

 

Eh, I like all of them. TKO certainly isn't great, but I don't think it's a bad song. I'm also not huge on EIIKM so I think most of the songs on that record are middle of the road (for MCS, which is still better than most bands). And I love "True Romance", especially as a follow-up to "Circuits and Wires".

 

I think we just have different opinions on this band's songs. "When You're Around" and "My Favorite Accident" are two of my least favorite songs by them.

 

Ive taken a break from sports to breathe since watching the Yankees lose in game 7.

The Nada Surf BN's cover was added on apple music as a single. It's decent. But definitely doesn't touch the original. Interesting take on it tho. @teebs41 did you hear it yet?

 

I still listen every 2 days probably, but usually not the whole album at a time, just too long to get that much time to do it.

My Favorite Accident is great. also reporting @KidLightning

 

MFA is their best song and also the only one I like.

Well it should be noted in any discussion of MCS that even my least favorite song by them (probably Son of a Gun) I still think is a good song.

This Is For Real is a good one, I think I just got annoyed with it because they overdid it live and there were other songs on that album I wanted to see more. Never saw it as deserving of a place as a set staple, which it was.

True Romance is good, but coming off Disappear as the first single for MDL, it just didn't do it quite as much for me.

And yea, we do seem to have some slightly different opinions, but I'm not exaggerating when I say I enjoy every single one of their songs.

Oh and I like TKO more than most. Still think it's one of the weaker songs on a great album.

 

Anyone here familiar with Spencer Burton? He used to be in Attack in Black.

I don't pick songs really, as much as I say "ok I have 25 minutes to listen, can either listen to first 5 songs or start at same logic and listen to those 5 songs." usually start at same logic and listen through 451.
