we're all a bunch of weirdos on a quest to belong Prestigious

In reference to the drug and smoking weed discussion from last night. I would smoke and also take LSD in highschool. My parents knew about it, but I was impossible to control so they didn't really know how to handle it or what to do about it. They never let me know they knew. One day I just decided I was done on my own. Had they pushed me on it, I would have probably gone farther.

Also @Kingjohn_654 I also wore D.A.R.E shirts.... but I was wearing them while smoking haha.

Also anyone saying anything even slightly negative about Julian Baker needs to be permanently banned from this sight. No questions asked.

Also I will not listen to the new The Used record. I hate that band so much. I haven't liked anything they have done outside of their debut.

That's like comparing Brand New and Manchester Orchestra though! They're both incredible!

Haha, it's funny how long they've been irrelevant in the "scene" yet I still think of them when I try to think of the worst band imaginable.

I didn't think having a D corps potentially containing Ekman-Larsson, Hjalmarsson, Demers, Goligoski and Chychrun would somehow make the Coyotes worse

    Brand New > Manchester Orchestra

I agree with you though. No need to compare them.

I mean I'm curious to see now with Justin instead of Quinn what that will be like. Curiosity gets the best of me. I also don't think it's a travesty to listen to The Used unlike some people in this thread.

If this is a veiled criticism of me, I won't hear it and I won't respond to it.

    It's complicated, but mostly yes.

For a long time I would've actually said fun. (Aim & Ignite is my favorite album of all time.) And it probably would still be fun. if they kept going, but it's hard to call a band with 2 albums your favorite band of all time, and I go back further with Motion City. Can't really explain the way they make me feel when I listen to them, but it's unlike any other band.

    So yes, I'd say so.
