Ahh there it is. The whole song I was like "this should be my thing but isn't", and then she finally belted it out at the end. Beautiful song, maybe I'll have to listen closer to that album. Seems like the style of music I would've once been into but doesn't grab my ear immediately anymore.

 

I don't know what the copyright system is like in Canada, but maybe they just haven't cleared the rights to the song there.

You could use a proxy plug-in/add-on for your browser and tell YouTube that you're in the US.

 

I think her first record is very good, especially for a debut album from a 19/20 year old, but this new one (from the 2 songs I've heard) is shaping up to be special. When she lets it rip, it's just chills all the way down my spine.

 

Yeah in Canada zero of those Topic songs work on YouTube. At least for me. It's seriously frustrating and I don't understand it.

I think I may like You Are Free the most. But a ton more are my favorites. But yeah that song really stood out to me when I last played the record.

 

Sure and Certain is the best JEW track in years

 

It's not bad, but making a legit cover of a song that was just released months ago seems like an odd/silly thing to do.

 

It Matters might actually be my favorite song on there

"It Matters" "You Are Free" "The End Is Beautiful" "Integrity Blues" and "Pol Roger" would be my top 5 off of the record.

"The End Is Beautiful" is a top 10 JEW song for me, and "Pol Roger" is pretty close to making that list too. "Integrity Blues" they almost have a Sigur Ros moment in that song!

 

"Sure and Certain" was a great single choice, that's for sure and certain.

 

The Coyotes still haven't won a single game...YIKES. Sad!

Will anyone listen to the new Used record tomorrow. I'm somewhat interested but the lenght really turns me off. 80 mins is pretty ridiculous.

But yes, I will listen to it. Definitely turned off by the length though, for sure.

 

I don't think I've ever listened to a full record by them. I kind of like that one song from like 15 years ago, but even that was only alright.

 

The last two tracks on The Horrible Crowes record are so good. "Blood Loss" into "I Believe Jesus Brought Us Together"

 

Can any of them play hockey? Sure they'd love to have them in Phoenix.

 

It's late October any more updates on the limited vinyl? I haven't received any shipping notifications.

 

It did leak and some have already heard it tho. I've seen a bunch of people talk about it here and on rym. I'll just wait until Friday. Prob wont even listen on Friday we'll see.
