That's usually my goto response when I don't care. But I think I actively dislike the Astros enough to not want them to win.

 

So when are you going to give hockey a chance? That's the real question

 

Whatever happened to the Brooklyn Dodgers?

 

I honestly don't think it's going to happen. As it is I barely watch any baseball except for postseason and big games, watch NFL but only the Packers now since I've had kids. Watch NBA postseason but only Celtics and finals and the NBA playoffs are so cluttered with terrible teams vs best teams it's not worth it for the first round really.

Mostly I just don't have time to try to like something I already don't care about.
2 kids in school part time + work full time + wife full time school just take too much. Maybe when my kids are 10+ and I don't have to teach then how to poop anymore I'll have more time.

Don't have anything against hockey except for I don't care about it. I hope everybodys teams win the Stanley cup!

Same. Which is kind of a bummer because my dad is really into watching sports and I feel like I'd connect with him better if I did.

Wow. I'm a downer tonight.

 

So when I was young I was obsessed with basketball and football then I got even more into snowboarding which is my truest passion in life, and thought it wasn’t cool to like sports except the Red Sox for a really long time. I grew out of that though and I love pretty much all sports now.

I understand how you feel though cause my dads life is sports, and when I was going through that phase where I didn’t like sports all he wanted from me was to sit down and watch a football game or basketball game with him and I wouldn’t.

Now that’s probably one of my favorite things to do during the week. I try to go watch at least one Jazz game with him a week.

 

For the folks at home that didn't catch the reference:

 

I'm at a point where I can sit down and watch games. My dad used to take me to Rockies games when I was younger because I didn't have any friends. I remember we went and saw the Avalanche play for my birthday one year, just me and him. In high school I made lots of friends and they'd force me to watch the Nuggets play all the time.

I'll watch sports with people if I'm invited, but it's not something I would actively seek out.


Also, I sometimes watch American Ninja Warrior.

 

If you haven't seen IATA live you're doing it wrong. I'm gonna miss that band a lot.
