Oh and that venue sounded light years better than the other two I attended. Jesse’s voice was cutting so hard you could in the inflections in his lower range, it was incredible.

 

Nah, you’re just thinking that because he wrote “Handcuffs”. Jesse’s written plenty of weird lyrics; listen to Daisy again. Anyway, “Same Logic/Teeth” is probably the most straightforward song on the record (besides CGIO) and apparently Vin wrote that 12 years ago.

 

I’ve only seen them once and it was way back in 2002 so I’m really excited!

They’re billing it as their 20 year Clumsy tour but it doesn’t look like they’re playing the entire album.

Should be fun regardless!

 

I have a theory about what 451 is about, based partially off of what other folks have said, and I don’t really think there’s any real non sequiturs/one-liners, but I’ll have to get into that when I get to my computer at work because it’ll be a long one lol

 

The only time I've seen them was at a festival. I'd love to see them at a headlining set!

 

"451" might be the best of the new songs live. King's and Tower Theatre shook for it.

 

was the mix the same as other shows? i thought for a bunch of songs the vocals were really hard to hear (though me being so close and in front of the monitors might have to do with that hahaha. the bass also felt overwhelming the rest of the instruments at times

i'm curious if that was a creative choice or just the specific show/venue

 

I assumed Vin wrote most of the lyrics on Daisy/here, no?

Me too! We had a little Vendetta Red discussion last night and it made me want to listen this morning

 

I think I’ve mentioned it in here before, but the only time I’ve seen them was in an FYE for a promo in-store show. Looking forward to a proper headlining show!

 

This is interesting. Most of what I'd assumed wound up being the opposite.

 

For sure thought Daisy and Noro were Jesse
