which kinda shut down the conversation. So I'm unsure as to why you're bringing up something that seemed to have died away 4 months ago as a gotcha moment to stop him from speaking out about another abuser?

I side eyed Casey for that post when it happened too. I didn't ask for any evidence as to why he felt the way he did because I'm not really concerned in defending the dude from Surfer Blood, especially when the info comes from someone directly linked to the abuser.

At the same time, I think the situation was addressed head on by Jason and other members of the site and don't really see why that would come into play in order to distract people from talking about Louis CK, especially from some weird anonymous presence on the site.

 

He has apologized then AND now. He's said what he did was wrong. What else do you honestly want from him?

go back to those posts and edit them and talk to the people he sent all the pms about surfer blood dude and make sure they know he's still an abuser and that emails from the abuser's gf doesn't cahnge what happened

 

Like, get on Casey's shit any day of the week I've been doing it for almost 8 years straight. I just don't see why this particular context of calling out another abuser is the right place or time but w/e you do you

I do not know who you are and I wish I did l, though I understand if you are uncomfortable having a revealing discussion is absolutely not what you want to do. But I acknowledge that I have been incredibly problematic in my past and I have been working to hopefully at the very least help someone, even though I know some past actions might not be forgivable. I apologize and whether this post is pushed away or not, I sincerely mean it, whoever you may be

No one else is thinking about what Casey said 4 months ago. Saying he should PM all of these people, edit his posts, etc. is ridiculous. The person who runs and moderates this site didn't make him jump through all of these hoops.
