I admit I made a mistake. Can I not learn from that? I am absolutely not perfect and my most important stance is to listen to those who know more than me.

In the thread when that first came up a bunch of people corrected me for my interpretation. I realized my problems and have changed my behavior since then

i mean so was your post. you said "stop making public statements about anyone"..which..is also weirdly hypocritical because you're telling him to keep quiet about abuse/abusers...which..benefits the abuser in that situation...so...

zero people are on the record as being abused by louis ck. a police report was filed about surfer blood. being high and mighty over louis ck while having made the posts about surfer blood abuser is bad

 

the joke was that MrEd was Louis CK deflecting attention but now imma go cry because it didn’t land at all and I feel bad.

It's not just you. Unfortunately he's one of those comedians with fans that think he can do no wrong and will jump down your throat if you say anything bad about him, so that's ends up being a pretty good shield for him.

The thing is I really like Louis CK’s work but never liked surfer blood’s music, so very confused why this of all reasoning is being used. I made a mistake by even mentioning what the girlfriend said, and I’m going to avoid doing that in the future. My only point of saying that was so people can make up their own mind with the information at hand, and I have continued to not support that band, but I can see why even giving leading information is harmful
