I wasn't a big July Talk fan until this track, but saw them live this summer and they were phenomenal. Engaging, acrobatic, and I can't properly describe how sexy their female singer is, she brings their live show to life.

 

I complain about radio alot, but my local station is decent I guess. I mostly just listen to NPR in the car now since I don't have an aux/usb port in my truck.

 

Dear Rouge is another pretty good band. I like to call them the Canadian version of Phantogram.

 

Oh Imagine Dragons is another one San Diego local radio fucking loves. There's been a few times where I couldn't use my aux cable and tried listening to the radio and both "alternative rock" station were playing "Believer" at the same time.

 

haha yeah here too. although my daughter likes to sing along to believer so I have to listen to that one.

 

It's weird what bands get big. I remember hearing "It's Time" by Imagine Dragons back in like 2011, nothing told me that band would blow up. Still don't really get it.

 

Easily one of my least favorite bands. They actively get on my nerves

 

remember when that guy on reddit said manchester orchestras new record sounded like imagine dragons?

 

there's definitely a few bands where I heard a song and I just knew they were going to blow up. like when I heard FOB demos for dance dance and sugar.

I knew they were going to be huge.

same with we are young.

Imagine Dragons I get because they're catchy, loud, and fuse rock and electronic music. I also get Cage the Elephant because "Ain't No Rest for the Wicked" sounded "different" enough at the time while still being pop radio-friendly. I really can't stand either of them though.

 

No but that's hilarious and terribly wrong

 

haha I don't like any imagine dragons, but I do kind of like cage the elephant well the 4 or 5 songs I've heard, especially aint no rest for the wicked. don't know why but reminds me a little of sublime maybe?

I like Sublime but have realized over the years how extreeeeemely problematic their songs are. Wrong Way, Date R***, Santeria........

 

Imagine Dragons is offensively bland. I can't imagine being like yes I need to put on this new Imagine Dragons record right now.

 

yeah but still fun songs.

 

imagine dragons is the modern nickelback, i have been saying that for years, it is very true

 

I agree, it's like really looking forward to the new season of "Madam Secretary".

I don't get it. there's no reason to be excited about it. it's fine if that's the music you like, but why the anticipation?

 

I wouldn't compare them to nickleback though. that's too rough for me.

I absolutely HATE nickleback.

my version of hell will be nickleback playing 24/7

 

I'd rather go see Nickelback than Imagine Dragons and I'm not joking at all.

I've got something i've been procrastinating on for awhile and it needs to be completed by Oct 31st guess I should start on it soon. Might this afternoon. It's so hard not to procrastinate. Wish I had more motivation to do things ahead of time more often instead of always waiting till the last minute.

 

some of my hate comes for nickelback just being bad people too and I have no opinion about Imagine dragons.
