So damn happy they lost I drank a fifth of jack to celebrate

 

We have a van and a truck. Since I can't put 2 car seats in the truck we have a system right now since my wife started school and my kids did too 3 days a week where she drops the kids off at school, parks at the bus stop and takes bus to school, on my lunch break I drop the truck off and pick up the van so after work I can pick up the kids from school. I would rather have a car instead of the truck but we can't afford another car payment and the truck isn't worth much on trade in so we're kind of stuck right now. I couldn't imagine only having 1 vehicle now, but last semester when my wife was staying home with the kids it could have worked, just would have been rough needing rides to and from work everyday.

I did. Nobody supported me.

 

I just can’t get over how this band took over my life these last few months. The album and these shows, it’s just been incredible. I already know this album cycle is going to be one of the most important cycles in my life. After years of waiting and doubting I’m very grateful to have had the opportunity to enjoy this band again to this degree. I know a lot of you feel the same way, it’s been a wild ride.. and we still got a ways to go.

Also Jesse said, “see you next time” last night so I guess Philly will be hit again before it’s all said And done.

They moved 451 and in the water to the beginning of the Set after Can’t get it Out and it worked way better. Jesses voice wasn’t as worn out and he could hit the high notes in those songs way better. Also he destroyed you won’t know last night, so good.

 

The TV Jason recommended is pretty good from what I've read. But that's a pretty high price range for a 55", you could definitely get a 65" 4k under 1500. I'd check out slickdeals.net for deals and rtings.com for ratings of different TVs you might consider.

Also black Friday/cyber Monday is right around the corner if you can wait.

 

Buy an OLED. In the next few months you should be able to grab a B7 or C7 (LG) for around $1500. You will not regret it.

I legitimately feel bad for people who had to pick Electric Factory over Tower Theatre. Every single thing about the show was so much better last night. The acoustics were tremendously better there, the stage allowed for the light show to be even more impressive, they improved the energy and flow of the set by switching things around, they added Tommy Gun, the crowd was so much more respectful of each other, and the band looked like they were having the time of their lives on stage.

Jesse clawing towards the crowd through the light screen with the spotlight on his face as he sang the last lines of You Won’t Know, holy fuck that was epic.

 

Baby Driver is stellar. Can’t wait to grab it on UHD when it gets a little cheaper.

 

I agree with this but I still loved both shows

 

I’m really happy for everyone that are enjoying these shows so much. You’re all really lucky!

Glad to hear! Went to EF, but also going to the Baltimore show. Similar set up to Tower Theater so I'm hoping it's as good.

 

Oh for sure, when I walked out of Electric Factory I thought damn that was special, then after Tower I was like never mind that was the one right there.

 

So what’s different about the OLED TVs and just regular 4K LED TVs?

I think after this album cycle and the Boston show Brand New have scraped into the upper pantheon of my favorite bands. I always liked them a lot but SF hit me right when I needed it and Friday was one of the best shows I’ve seen. Also last night I still had one of the records in my car and some people (distant acquaintances) I was carpooling with noticed it and we talked brand new the whole time and it was great.

 

OLED is just next level, darks are darker better viewing angle, thinner

I'd go to frys or best buy or Costco and just look at some Tvs before you buy

I think we are gonna go, it’s going to be costly but really if these are the last tours we should go as often as we can. It’s pretty much the same setlist but I love hearing this stuff live

 

I'm going to try going to every California date + the final show next year so you should go as many times as you want!

 

I'm already getting impatient for some west coast shows. Any guesses when they'll do the next tour, in the Spring maybe?

 

I would love them to release a deluxe version of SF like blink did for California or what Radiohead did for Ok Computer (OKNOTOK)
