Anyone know a shit ton about TVs that wants to give me some recommendations? I’m looking for a new tv, at least 55 inches, 4K and under $1500. What’s the best I can get meeting those requirements?

I usually watch all of the Browns games (I am a slave to this, I am a masochist) but I probably won’t watch any today. We’re taking the kids to this Halloween event at the zoo (cleverly titled Boo at the Zoo) where the kids dress up in costumes and get candy at the zoo. I think we’ll probably go there midday. Watch, this will be the game the Browns win!

Yo, fellow dads, especially you minivanners:

Do you have 2 cars? If so, how often do you find yourself needing both to take the kids to different activities and what age did that start?

Trying to decide if we should trade in our car to get the minivan. The dealer offered full KBB value, which would allow us to cut our loan about in half, and we don’t really need 2 cars right now, but I think we will in a couple years at least.

 

I woke up at 5:30 on purpose, heading out for a run before the kids wake up.

 

Found ourselves wishing we had two cars.

I was given a ‘99 CRV for free a year after getting the ’16 Odyssey, but it actually died yesterday.

 

We currently have two cars and in about 5 hours are trading my wife’s car in for a minivan!

We definitely need two vehicles because my wife works about 20 miles north of home and I work about 20 miles south of home. Public transportation isn’t really a viable option.

We each have car seats in our vehicles. My wife typically handles daycare drop offs and I handle pick ups. That’s pretty much due to work schedules.

Typically when we go somewhere as a family I do the driving.

Not sure if that answers your question! My kids are still pretty young and don’t have many activities to get to yet.

So I’ve been on record on some of these forums saying I thought this album was OK. I got my physical copy yesterday, and it’s been in my car since then and I have to say this album sounds so good on cd. The music is crisper and I hear nuances the digital copy lacked. I like this album a lot more now

 

Haha, weird stuff always happens at Walmart. I was there a few weeks ago with my 7 month old in a baby carrier. Some tweaker lady came up to me laughing and said "Oh my god, you look just like that fat guy from that Neighbors movie."

My kids are so young they aren't needing to go to separate activities yet. We currently have 2 SUVs and a truck. I really want to trade my truck and Jeep in for a minivan, but my wife says they are lame and won't let me. I love the Toyota Sienna, that's a sweet ride.

 

Well yeah, but still.
