Cool man so same tour then they were doing Room's too cold last night as well. Did they do a set after or it was all blended in with room's too cold songs?

I showed him a couple songs he liked. He's turned off by swearing in music, so not all of their stuff is for him.

As for the discovering new bands discussion I must say that hasen't changed that much for me since like the early to mid-2000s. I still love looking on bandcamp (back in the day on purevolume) from time to time and finding new stuff. I mean I maybe do it a little less now but I still discover a ton of new bands. Way more than anyone I know. No one seems that interested which is why Chorus and this community is so special to me.

Many of the bands I discovered in the early to mid 2000s i still listen to today. The only difference now is I focus more on new music of the bands i've already discovered and as i get older I like to catch up on classics more than I used to. I still have to do a better job with the last one tho. So much good old stuff out there that I still haven't heard.

 

I’m going to see Dream Theater next month with my step-dad. Should be fun

 

I sent a message to a few vinyl stores to find out if they have the indie exclusive variant and one of them got back to me and said this:

"We have 1 left. It will be released next Friday, October 27th. We can reserve a copy for you?"

But didn't it come out yesterday? It did as far as I know so not sure why they are saying that it will be released next Friday only that's weird to me

 

I'll forever be bummed that the one time I heard Missing You live was before I even knew the song

Indie exclusive was just delivered. Cannot wait to spin it later on today.

Holy shit you guys the record store by me had it!!!! I own Science Fiction on vinyl. This is unreal.

Looked like this was the only copy besides the retail black variant.
