@Ken i'm watching Sideways. What an endlessly rewatchable movie. Near perfect film so good.

The scene when Miles drunk dials Victoria and she tells him that her new husband's name is Ken is that why your username on here is Ken but you have a Miles avatar prob not but just thought i'd ask lol

The UO variant is clear so wtv not particularly interested in that variant since I already have plenty of clear ones.

I couldn't agree more. Wait UO like Urban Outfitters? Clear vinyl never sounds very good imo. There's always a lot of static on the ones I have, so I wouldn't want that one anyway, luckily (cus if it was really cool I'd end up with 3 variants of Science Fiction)

 

Why aren't 24 hour record stores a thing? This almost qualifies as an emergency at this point. I have to have it:

 

I will end up with 3 variants and i'm totally fine with that. First record i've collected multiple variants for and it's about time! I've always wanted to do it for one.

It's funny to me that Brand New is cool enough for Urban Outfitters now.

Also Brand New is too cool for UO they are just trying to capitalize on their coolness.

 

Would there be a chance of Brand New doing a tiny desk concert? I'd love the set to be Waste, Could Never Be Heaven, At The Bottom (Daisy sessions version) and In The Water

 

I picked up my Daisy vinyl at UO a few years back! I actually even saw the 2006 demos tape there before

One of my best friends just listened to Science Fiction for the first time. She doesn't usually listen to new music by artists she's not obsessed with, haha, but listened to this because of me! She really enjoyed it, In The Water was her favourite song. She also asked me a lot of questions about Brand New breaking up and their history, in general. It's great hanging out with people who actually want me to ramble on and on and on about music

 

Got an email saying my CD shipped. Excited to own this physically to some capacity. Isn’t it crazy to think that we thought we wouldn’t even be hearing this until now? The chaos that surrounded this release was magical

In response to @Mary V’s post earlier, do any of you 30 something year olds find that as you get older your friends lose interest in new Music more and more? And they even get annoyed when you try to talk about it, not saying like guys you met at work but like people you grew up worshiping Music with.

 

Yes, it's awful. That's why this site is so important and such a good outlet!

 

Definitely! I’m guilty of not keeping up with new music as well as I’d like, but it’s not due to lack of interest! There’s just so many things I want to listen to.

 

I’m sure if you are on this site you are doing fine! Haha.. I just mean it’s nice in real life when you meet someone you can really talk about music with.

 

My friend is only 24!! I understand wanting to listen to your favourite artists, but I'm so curious and crave hearing new and different music.

 

I’m just glad my fiancée lets me ramble on and on about stuff haha, she loves music too so I got lucky there.

I guess my band talks a lot of music with me too haha.
