I generally give openers my attention but they really didn't catch me. No negative thoughts, just really uninteresting to me.

They were also opening for Brand New so it's a tough spot.

 

i came in with no expectations and i liked it a bit. the first 4 songs were great but lost me for the rest of the set, probs cuz i thought to myself "omg this is great" and set the bar too high after LOL

 

Yeah I wasn't blown away or anything but pretty enjoyable opening set

 

the one with the distortion solo at the end was pretty cool. reminded me of thrice's circles during that part. i needa look up the set list later and revisit that one. it was either 3rd or 4th

 

Also did I mention that I loved Jesse saying "hit single" before going into Sic Transit?

This band really smacks the spot.

At the show in Boston. Sunny 6 hour drive over. Mad leg room at my seat. Picked up daisy and mene 7” records. Good day so far.

For a moment there i thought they played shower scene tonight and got simultaneously excited but sad because we originally wanted to go to the Boston date. I'm still going through post-show depression. I know some of you haven't gone at all so not trying to sound ungrateful. But seeing some of these spectacular seated venues Kings last night and Wang tonight def has me a little jealous. Also knowing that @teebs41 is potentially going to 3 shows i cant help but hope i was going to more than one date lol

 

i might request a name change which one should i do? "iago" or "iagorules666"?

 

Can better tell when he is tagged still so fascinating to me that all this time (and I'm sure I'm not the only one) I thought it was lago not @Iago
