I’ve spent a good portion of my day thinking about @The Mysterious

 

Have any of you ever actually listened to the "Crack The Sky" song that "Play Crack The Sky" references?

 

Busy day at work, and now beer and Chicago-mix popcorn for my boss' bday and my coworkers' 5-year anniversary with the company.

Deciding here and now that I hate those "Make Brand New Play YFW Again" hats and any dumb variations of that stupid fucking hat. 99% of those people who claim "that it's just a joke, don't be so serious," seem to be straight white men. Surprise, surprise the people that rhetoric like "Make America Great Again" doesn't impact whatsoever.

 

Nocturnal Habits

Currently listening to this. Glacial Pace is a label I've been meaning to check out for awhile now. Label founded by Isaac Brock of Modest Mouse.

Anyone familiar with any of the bands on the label. This particular album is decent so far. Definitely up my alley musically speaking. I will probably give Mimicking Birds a shot and also Surviving Knife. All bands I've never really listened to. Ideally down the line if Procrastinate grew a little it would have a nice little roster like Glacial Pace has. Love the label name by the way and logo.

Do you all ever have a meeting that you need to heavily participate in that you don't think you prepared enough for. Then, when you meeting happens you knock it out of the park?

 

We were all ranting about that a day or two ago. Haha.

Anyone else go pick up the Indie Store Exclusive today? I grabbed one this morning and it took a lot of self control to not also buy a cd for my car. Just couldn't wait for my vinyl/cd order from procrastinate any longer. Surprisingly my record store here in Idaho had maybe 5-6 copies of the Indie Store variant, maybe that's normal but seems like a bunch for a place Brand New probably isn't returning to ever.

Certainly can, tons of CDs in my record store but I held off because one is coming in my preorder
