Brand New’s fifth album will be shipping on a very limited vinyl in October. Pre-orders were up here. They’ve also announced some new tour dates for this fall.

Couldn't get through the check out page...oh well.

 

The hype coming from the community surrounding this band always makes real Brand New news fun/stressful.

 

Is this real?

 

Then I lost my mind... It went way too fast! Can we do a redo?

 

The fact that I saw the announcement less than 30 minutes after it was up and still couldn't get a copy of vinyl frustrates me to no end... but also FINALLY NEW MUSIC!

 

Soo does this imply an October release date for a new album on digital as well?

 

Wtf. Why can't they have normal bundles so I can get my gawd damn t-shirt and cd.

 

Nope.

 

Knowing them, the only digital copy will be on a USB buried on an island in the south pacific (or something equally ridiculous).

 

I managed to come away with one after refreshing the page 20 times

 

Also this band loves an Autumn release date

 

Brand new hyping up everything and not doing anything about it was cool 5 years ago but I'm over it now.

 

Looking forward to more details about this.

If "Mene" and "I Am a Nightmare" are on the album I will be pissed.

Hell yeah! I can always use another place to mindless post about my excitement!

 

I don't understand why a band who "hates the music worship" and doesn't like spotlight continues to do shit like this. It just makes it seem like they give no shits about their fans and it only makes the hype worse and more annoying. That being said, stoked on new music.

 

Ahhh yes, the most reliable format for an on-time release

 

I need to hear some songs first before I shell out $45 for vinyl...

Excited for the album and having it on vinyl is cool and all, I just feel like having that be the only order option right now kinda sucks given that no format runs into more delays than vinyl
