I was surrounded by girls dancing like it was a club during Jesus Christ and other slower songs so that was funny to watch until one of them smashed me right in the eye when she was flailing around right before Jesse played Soco. Then some douche pushing through everyone when we were all leaving and basically picking a fight with everyone as he went. Still somehow the least annoying of Brand New crowds I've dealt with. And some guy had a dog in the lobby after and got to the pet so that brought everything back to a good level.

 

I'm here in a Billy Joel baseball tee if anyone wants to say hi. Can't wait to hear these new songs!!

 

Yea, overall I thought the crowd in Boston was great.

 

Oh yea. GA shows can be a nightmare sometimes. I prefer to just stand in the back at this point. It's not worth it.

Aside from that one guy though, I thought the Boston crowd was great. Everyone around us seemed to be having a great time.

 

Yea it depends on the band for me these days if I want to try to be in the front. But that's good! I've seen mixed reviews on these crowds.

Thanks! And to Matt as well! I always get a few comments on it, it's become my favorite concert choice lately.

And wow was that an amazing show. That kind of venue is absolutely perfect for singalongs and BN went all out for the visuals. Wish I could get to another one but at least I made that one count.

Also it's so great that they had people taking alcohol orders in the pit. That never happens at any shows I go to down here and I always miss out getting my spot.

Seeing them on this tour was the best Brand New set I've seen out of the three I've been to in the past couple years. Way more energy from everyone overall. And the seating in Boston really helped suppress the douche bros and their antics perfectly. The visual production was insane/entertaining the whole time. SF songs translated amazingly, with everyone in the crowd seemingly loving them all. My girlfriend and I had a blast.

 

the ticket says left orchestra row c so i guess that's front row on that side. be on the lookout for a yellowcard shirt and dave grohl-esque hair

western part of MD so i'm used to having to go a couple hrs for Pittsburgh or Balt/DC but usually not alone. i can handle it though as long as my car holds up!

guess i'll try to use the parking garage next to the venue.
