Besides new songs and staples (e.g., Sic Transit, Tommy Gun, YWK, Degausser, Jesus), what's everyone hoping to hear this summer? My top five would be Nobody Moves, 1996, Logan, Good Man, and Coca-Cola.

Now that they have officially released them hearing some of the leaked demos live would be a real treat. But yeah for me new songs is def what I'm most looking forward to hearing this summer.

Just about any of the deeper cuts I've never seen before. I was lucky enough to see them during their pre-Daisy summer tour, and they played a few YFW songs, as well as Flying At Tree Level, but maybe a song like Failure By Design would be cool just to see once, although I don't ever expect to see that one. I've already seen the major songs from that album, like Shower Scene, Jude Law, 70x7 (please stop with this one soon please), soco, and Mixtape... Logan would be cool. I would like to see Moshi Moshi sometime, and just about any of the '06 demos not named Brothers.

I've been a lucky one. Seen them about 12 times or so. Was at the yfw triple crown show. Jesse Lacey at maxwells (best show I've ever been to), the weird bamboozle show, msg and Nassau shows. I think the best was a set at music hall of Williamsburg in 07 I think. Then I moved to the Midwest and haven't seen them in years. Really looking forward to the Chicago date with MM

I also oddly and luckily got into the Maxwells and triple crown show for free due to some awesome people.... and once a security escort due to people rushing the line

That wasn't what I meant at all with what I said! I meant, I want to see any of the '06 demos that I haven't seen yet. Brothers is the only one I have already seen, so that's the one I was excluding specifically! The only songs I don't really like seeing live are 70x7 and sometimes You Stole. 70x7 just sounds sloppy and annoying when they play it, while You Stole sometimes just kinda kills the vibe at the show. I usually just wish they'd take out You Stole and replace it with 2 faster paced songs that are short in length.

    I'll be there too!

I'm also going to the Atlanta show. Really excited. Will be my 4th & 5th times seeing them. Hopefully more to come...
I am thinking about trying to get as close as possible in Tampa. I am long past the age of waiting in line to get barricade but I feel like Brand New is a good band to throw a last hurrah for. They would certainly be worth it, I think.
Then we have seats for Atlanta, so.

    Someday I’ll find me Prestigious

My wife will be coming along with me to the Thrice show in Orlando, but decided to not go to the Brand New show. We're due to have our second kid in late July, and she knows a Brand New show is a different beast altogether from a Thrice show.
Almost 9 months pregnant and a Brand New show don't mix. Haha.

This will be my fourth Brand New show. I've never gone up close, first time because the group I was with wanted to stand where the acoustics were better (at the sound board, The National in Richmond, VA), then to avoid getting crushed my wife and I stood at the edge of the crowds (both at The Fillmore in Charlotte, NC and Redhat Amp. in Raleigh, NC). This time, I'll be hitting up the show pretty much alone, though I'll know some people there. This gives me free reign to do whatever.

Didn't love seeing them at an outside venue like the one in Raleigh, but hoping that Tampa will be better. The crowd was terrible in Raleigh, and you couldn't see the fog on the stage through the fog of everyone and their mom smoking and vaping (and probably a bit of illegal stuff floating in the air as well).

I'll probably leave after the Brand New set. I'm not really into Modest Mouse, though I'll occasionally give them a spin, and I'd rather clear the way for true Modest Mouse fans to get closer.

Same! my boyfriend is the MM fan so I will be leaving the crowd after BN to give the true fans a spot. Plus I will likely need a breather, let's be real.

I've never been really close either. And I have only seen them at one inside venue, the rest were outside. I sure do wish this one was inside since it will be in the dog days of summer and a thousand degrees with a million percent humidity.

I cant wait for the CHI stop, fiance really likes Modest Mouse. Im still listening to them, I havent really heard anything I couldnt get into. Alot to still check out though. We've been to a couple of shows where one of us was a fan, the other not so much. Come to think, they were all my idea haha. Good thing he loves me! We've got tickets to Florence + the Machine too, :crylaugh:
