omg today is friday! :)
Song is good. Production is meh...

 

Expected more, quite frankly.

Jesse's vocals in the verses sound incredibly fake and forced.

 

Giving it a few more listens but my instant reaction was positive. I wish the song was a tad longer!

 

Man, what a cheesy guitar riff.

Loving this. Huge song.

 

I haven't liked a Brand New song since Deja Entendu. This song is great. Really reminds me of Alkaline Trio.

 

It's not bad, but it's kinda bland to me. The bridge is my favourite part. Still excited for the full record.

The song—produced by Brand New and longtime collaborator Mike Sapone, mixed by Vince Ratti, and taken from the band’s upcoming release—will be available via all Digital Service Providers this week and can be pre-ordered now on vinyl. “I Am A Nightmare” comes in advance of Brand New’s upcoming Canadian headlining tour and American co-headlining tour with Modest Mouse.

Not as good as Mene, which is one of my favourite Brand New songs but it's a really good song nonetheless and I'm very excited for any album info to appear.

 

The fact that they are selling this single as a 12-inch is dumb, a waste of vinyl and a massive money grab.

 

Sounds like a cross between Deja and Devil. I like it.

 

That opening guitar riff sounds like 2005 Indie. Song is not that great on 1st listen if i'm honest

Edit: chorus is good, just not feeling that riff at all...

It's just the biggest waste I've ever heard of. Not a 45, not a 10-inch, but a full size record for one 3 minute song. For $10...
