Brand New’s “I Am a Nightmare” at Banquet Records

I like this song less and less. That makes me sad.

 

I think it's due to how thirsty we are for new Brand New songs. There's just not much to the song. It's very simple and has a very basic structure and lyrics are hardly thought provoking or emotive.

 

This has been an interesting release shcedule, but these songs just aren't quality enough to be conducive to this format. They might have been more passable when packaged with other songs, but their weaknesses are a lot more apparent when released on their own.

 

Banquet Records,yeah thanks but no thanks. Never received the copy of Deja that was ordered from them.
