BrainDead (CBS) TV Show

A political sci-fi comedy thriller coming this summer to CBS. Created by Robert and Michelle King the showrunners of The Good Wife. It stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Tony Shalhoub.

It's been given a 13 episode straight to series order and it premieres Monday June 13th.

It's been described as "West Wing meets The Strain"

whoa. they brought up crazy ex-girlfriend, pushing daisies, and hannibal in relation to this show...and it's a cbs show? am i going to like a cbs show???

 

I hope this is good.

 

Heard good things about this and the premise is intriguing. I'll give it a shot.

 

Good Wife was, for much of its run, pretty fantastic. I'm definitely in for whatever the Kings do, this seems like a ton of fun.

 

Looking forward to it tonight. I'm always up for political satire.

 

MEW was great in this. I have no idea how they're going to stretch this out though.

 

The musical recaps are brilliant. I'm bummed this is going to get cancelled.

 

I'm enjoying the show but I have no idea how they stretch this out for 10 more episodes.

I watched the first episode and liked it enough but haven't kept up with it since, need to get back on it.

I've been DVRing it and just now watched the first three episodes. The overuse of "You Might Think" is making me dislike the song more and more.

Not surprised, the very bad ratings + the Kings deciding to run to the Good Wife spinoff after initially choosing not to be the showrunners pretty much sealed this. I never did get around to the rest of the show, which is a shame because it seems like something I'd really like (and I did like the pilot a lot). Oh well, guess there's no real rush now.

 

I would have watched this if I knew what it was and didn't dismiss it as another CBS show.

 

Well the series is pretty self contained and it's a fun watch so it's still worth the time.
