Haven't loved anything like the first one but this is sounding great so far.

 

Geez, snow angel might be the best song they’ve ever made

 

this album is great.

 

Yup, it's incredible. They really leveled up in the last five years. Hard to compare it to Deep in the Iris, which is an all-timer for me at this point, but even the singles on here continue to blow me away.

Got words on this going up later in the week, which is wild since I've had this since fucking FEBRUARY.

 

Maybe I didn't give the last couple enough of a chance, but as a huge fan of their debut, this is probably my favorite album of theirs.

 

Looking forward to reading this! Surprised (but excited) to see this get it over Phoebe this week.

If you’re going back to their stuff (which I highly advise, DITI is a masterpiece) but sure to check the EP and two track single they released between this album and the last. Some of their best material and I hardly ever see it discussed. Not that there are many people discussing their work to begin with lmao

this sound incredible on vinyl and only gets better with each listen. Canadian legends

 

Posting this here because no one ever looks at the Blue Hawaii threads but they're releasing a "mixtape" next month. Absolutely did not expect anything else from Raph so soon after Blue Hawaii LP last year, another 2 track single earlier this year, and the Braids album.

 

Blue Hawaii tape is out today and I think it's some of the best stuff Raph (and her collaborator) have put out under that project

 

dunno how I missed this one when it came out, it's so good!
