Ohio is For Lovers This was a tough one - I'll go with their iconic song that was also the first song of theirs that I heard. I'm a true Ohioan (I was born in AND currently live in Ohio, unlike some people here!!!) and I can confirm that yes, my state is for lovers. This is a solid debut album overall, but not really something I revisit often. I'd pretty easily put it behind If Only You Were Lonely and Bad Frequencies and I may put it behind Skeletons as well, or at least right on par with it.
This is a good post. This album has such nostalgia value it’s a classic of the scene BUT some of their later albums such as IOYWL and BF definitely top it
Currently Ohio is For Lovers-5 Blue Burns Orange-6 This could be it! I will say of these two BBO is my favorite, but I expected it to be the underdog in this match. We’ll see what the morning holds. If Only You Were Lonely starts tomorrow!
