That Long December line is one of the greatest, though, for sure. I think it's his favourite?

 

Yes, I believe the "December" line is his favorite. I have a live recording of it where he says "Best line I ever wrote, right here" right before that line.

I think my runner-up is "If dreams are like movies, then memories are films about ghosts." I love that they chose that one for the title of their best of.

 

Adam has also mentioned the “Oh baby, I surrender to the strawberry ice cream, never ever ender” from “Accidentally in Love” as being one of his favorites haha

I love the “films about ghost” line. Definitely one of my favs.

 

Not a lyric, but one of my favorite lines of music criticism ever is, “Adam Duritz sings like the dutiful son of permissive parents I hope don't sit next to me at Woodstock.”

These are my two favorite tracks on the album, so this was a bit tough for me! I really love both of these songs, but I'm going to go with Angels Of The Silences because I really love its high energy and the outro is great.
