Two of my favorite songs of all time. “Miami” is maybe the only song in the catalog I’d consider voting for instead of “Round Here,” if those two come head to head at some point. The challengers are great too, but these are easy calls for me.

All great songs. I want to say this is maybe their most consistent album? But I don’t feel like any of the prior three albums are inconsistent so I don’t know why I’m thinking that.

These should be the top four from this album, imo. All fantastic songs.

 

If I Could Give All My Love (I don’t know if I don’t care for New Frontier just because of “Come on children mind the gap,” but man, that line irks me every time.)

Up All Night (WSYCWIC is great but it’s never been a favourite.)

Holiday in Spain (Tough call)

Miami (Tougher call. The two best pop songs they’ve written, maybe? The chorus of American Girls is probably the best one on here, but the outro of Miami is one of my favourite moments in their entire catalogue.)

 

American Girls is great, but, with all due respect, it should not get any votes against Miami.
