BTVS is great, but YWTC is a top five Thursday song easy and I would be cool with it winning this entire bracket

 

I just listened to CE front to back for the first time in a really long time and holy hell is it LOUD. Like, probably the band's most chaotic album (not in a bad way - as I find this to be my 2nd or third favorite Thursday album).

The closing of Love and Cancer back to back is just insanely top notch.

 

but did you listen to the bonus tracks too?

 

Nah. I went deaf after You Were the Cancer.

 

I'm ok with ending the album after you were the cancer. it's a perfect closer.

the bonus tracks are great, but I think I'd rather them mixed into the album.

Welp I did say I wanted these to be the final. But again, I'd honestly be pretty ok with Subway Funeral getting in as well.

 

Not that I want songs to get shut out, but you don't know how happy it makes me to see You Were the Cancer doing so well. Absolutely one of their best songs ever.

It's kind of like when I bought the Futures LP a few years ago and JEW had the nerve to throw on a b-side after 23 and I legitimately got so angry that another song was coming on after the most perfect album closer of all-time.
