Little/The Sound of Reverie Lovely/Black Butterflies & Déjà Vu Black Butterflies vs. Don't Come Down wasn't hard in that I didn't know what to do, but voting against Don't Come Down was so brutally painful. I had to really think about DYR? vs. Sound of Reverie, and I honestly don't know why but I felt I had to vote for Reverie.
Taxi vs Bad Behavior could’ve gone either way How Do You Feel is pretty handedly my least favorite song on this record. LLL was a step up for The Maine and it’s the only song I feel doesn’t match that quality — feels like it could’ve easily been on an older record. SOR is my favorite on the record BBADV has that really bad alphabet line but it’s the first sign of the band treading some new ground on the record and just killing it. Plus I’ve never really liked the bridge to last Chorus transition in DCD, if I have to nitpick to make a decision
Yeah it’s really not good lol. Feels really cramped in there with the rhythm he chose to sing it with too, imo. The “twenty six” part in particular is really jagged.
